About Autumn Redleaf and the Bike

She·kú - Hello :)
About me. I don't know that I am all that interesting but here we go. I am in my late 40's, neurodivergent, and I am mixed race Oneida. I was born in the USA but I married a man from the UK and, six years later, have immigrated to Scotland.

In March of 2023, I developed severe Plantar Fasciitis and am no longer able to stand for very long or walk more than a mile or two. Thus, I have turned to cycling to maintain my mobility without a car and to replace my dream of hiking around the world.

I decided to create this blog after the notion that Travel is Boring struck me and I wanted to contribute to the voices that talk about alternative experiences, adventure, sustainable travel, and life in between all that - especially from the point of view of navigating Asperger's.
My current bike is a BTWIN 500E. I go by bike because I must. Perhaps you will choose to!
